The tweeter is integrated into a swivelling frame (+/- 20°), in order to be able to adjust the direction of the high frequencies, and thus perfectly direct the sound wave towards the listening area.
The IN-WALL speaker, as the name suggests, is a speaker that is flush with a wall or ceiling. With a small footprint and a discreet design, it makes it possible to replace a more conventional speaker.
The 165 RO PRO is easily attached, just make a perfectly round hole with a diameter of 209 mm, but in order to help you a paper model is delivered with all speakers.
Then, simply disassemble the magnetic protective grille. Once the grille has been removed and the speaker has been wired (either by soldering or by terminal block), only a Phillips screwdriver is needed. All you have to do is turn the 4, 6 or 8 screws (depending on the model), so that small hooks will tighten the speakers in their recess.
INWALL speakers such as the 165 RO PRO do not claim to replace bookshelf speakers, whose load volume and filter have been optimized, nevertheless, particular care has been put in place for their sound quality: Braided Kevlar fiber driver, textile dome adjustable tweeter.
The intrinsic characteristics of the speakers used mean that they can work just as well with an almost infinite or reduced rear load. Depending on the rear volume, the level of the bass frequencies will be slightly modified.
