High-fidelity sound made portable
When the Devialet Mania arrived at my desk, I was struck by three things: the size, the weight, and the sound. The Mania resembles the smooth styling of Devialet’s other iconic speakers, only more compact (about the size of a small melon). But it weighed far more than you might expect for a speaker of this size — it’s just as substantial and solidly built as its bigger cousins. And that high-quality build translates into high-quality sound.
Full 360° sound field
The speaker has four full-range drivers set in the top half of the dome-shaped casing. These are alternately left- and right-channel aluminum drivers, so however you’re oriented to the Mania, you’ll hear true stereo sound.
The side-firing bass woofers move in sync to cancel out unwanted vibrations. This lets the deepest bass frequencies come through.
