With the AM-1 speakers you get Bowers & Wilkins sound – however tough the environment. Perfect for the patio, around a pool, in a conservatory or around the garden, the AM-1 speakers deliver top quality sound where ordinary speakers wilt. The tough, sealed enclosure shrugs off water and is resistant to UV light.

 

Flexible mounting

Supplied with wall brackets, the AM-1 speakers are ready to be attached to all types of surface. The bracket also allows for vertical or horizontal mounting, making them easier to fit various locations – such as under a roof’s eaves.

 

Top quality Bower & Wilkins sound

Bowers & Wilkins speakers are found in some of the most famous studios in the world, including Abbey Road, so it’s little surprise to find these speakers sound much better than the average outdoor speakers. The two-way speakers use Nautilus tube loaded, metal dome tweeters and woven glass fibre woofers for smooth, detailed sound quality.

 

Punchy bass

Producing a powerful bass from a compact, sealed speaker isn’t easy as there’s no open bass port to rely on. Bowers & Wilkins get around this by fitting ABRs (Auxiliary Bass Radiators) to the rear of each speaker. These flex to extend the bass, while still keeping the cabinet sealed and weather tight. Now you get rich, full-range sound, just as you’d expect from Bowers & Wilkins indoor speakers.

 

Stylish design

Available in matte black or matte white, the AM-1s strike a stylish chord in any environment. The mesh grilles don’t just look good, they robustly protect the drivers behind, making these speakers even more durable.
