ACE400

Add the OSD Audio ACE400 to every room in the house and still stay on budget. About the size of a recessed light can, this 3" trimless in-ceiling speaker pair brings clean, solid background music to the spaces where a larger speaker would be in the way - kitchens, hallways, bathrooms, closets, offices and covered areas inside the home.

ABOUT THE SIZE OF A LIGHT CAN: With a 4.5" cutout and a 5.62" outer diameter, the ACE400 fits small spaces where a bigger speaker would stand out. Put music in kitchens, hallways, baths and closets without a visible box on the wall or shelf.

NEARLY INVISIBLE TRIMLESS LOOK: A micro-flange grille with a trim line of about .15" sits tight to the ceiling, held on by strong magnets. Spray paint the grilles to match the ceiling and the speakers all but disappear into the room.

SOLID SOUND FOR BACKGROUND MUSIC: A 3" polypropylene woofer covers 120Hz - 20kHz with 88 dB sensitivity. Rated at 60W, the ACE400 is made for background music and whole-house audio, with sound that punches above its small size.

QUICK TO WIRE AND MOUNT: Spring-loaded binding posts take bare speaker wire in seconds. Built-in dog-ear brackets clamp the speaker to the ceiling from the front as you tighten the screws, and only 2.25" of mounting depth is needed.

SOLD AS A PAIR: Two passive 8-ohm speakers and two spray-paintable magnetic grilles, ready for a stereo pair or one zone of a whole-house system. Connect to any stereo amplifier or receiver that drives 8-ohm speakers.

WARRANTY: Backed by OSD Audio's 10-year warranty.

The ACE400 is part of OSD Audio's Architectural Ceiling Element (ACE) series. Instead of a bulky trim ring, each speaker uses a micro-flange grille with a trim line of about .15", held in place by strong magnets. The grilles are spray paintable, so they can be matched to the ceiling and blend in with recessed lighting.

Each speaker uses a 3" polypropylene cone with a frequency response of 120Hz - 20kHz and 88 dB sensitivity. Power handling is rated at 60W and the speakers are 8 ohms, so they work with standard stereo amplifiers, receivers and multi-zone systems. Customers often tell us how full the ACE400 sounds for its size.

Installation is simple. Cut a 4.5" hole, connect the speaker wire to the spring-loaded binding posts, set the speaker in the opening and tighten the front screws to lock the built-in dog-ear brackets against the ceiling. The speaker measures 5.62" in diameter and needs only 2.25" of mounting depth.

Sold as a pair with two spray-paintable magnetic grilles. These are passive speakers and require an amplifier or receiver. Backed by OSD Audio's 10-year warranty.
