T/9x Grey

When you get it out of the box the superior build quality, attractive design and gorgeous finish provides an immediate feeling of luxury. It's not all looks either, and this discreetly-compact subwoofer does an awful lot with its 10-inch driver, 10-inch passive radiator and 300W of Class A/B power.

“Textures, layers and fast attacking response were some of the best I’ve heard in my home. They can be aggressive for Rock music or nuanced during live performances, and this all applies to home theater as well.”

“I was amazed at the T/9x’s ability to energise the room without sounding woolly or frayed. It also managed to deliver powerful bass while retaining REL’s trademark speed and flair. This is a remarkable achievement in terms of redesigning and reengineering an existing product, and one that’s sure to please existing fans of the brand. It should also make it plenty of new ones.”

What the new REL /x subwoofers bring to your system, in addition to more bass output, is a higher level of definition in the lower frequencies, as well as more presence in the entire frequency spectrum...The best way to really experience what any REL subwoofer can do is to shut it off. The 30 seconds you hear your system with it disabled will convince you. That’s truly all it takes.

"As with every REL-based system I’ve set up over the years, when properly set up the RELs are undetectable, until you turn them off. In addition to the lowest bass fundamentals diminishing, the front to back imaging component of the system nearly disappears. Even when listening to music that doesn’t have a ton of heavy bass. The level of depth that the REL subwoofers provide never ceases to amaze me."

"I was truly impressed with the way it can produce sound deep and rich yet very articulate, very responsive notes...For the price, performance, build quality and everything these are probably one of the best you can buy, if not the best in the price range."

"REL has done it yet again by producing a subwoofer that literally punches above its weight. The T9X is fast, authoritative, can untangle complex bass lines and can convey great detail all the way down to the deepest notes." - HiFi Pig

“This thing can really move some air. It’s dynamic, it’s fast, impactful and actually puts out a lot more sound, and I should say very accurate sound.”

"These subwoofers are for a more general audience, getting great performance right out of the box. Easy to setup. You plug them in and boom. You get great performance at a relatively low cost."

"I really believe the hero of any system has gotta be the subs. Your home theater or your stereo, and what I felt here was not just a sense of being surrounded or being immersed in the sound track. Now, you’re actually embedded."
