ACE800

Interior designers like the OSD Audio ACE (Architectural Ceiling Element) series because it pairs elegant, modern style with strong audio performance. The ACE800 brings that to larger rooms: an 8" two-way trimless in-ceiling speaker pair with fuller bass for great rooms, living rooms, open floor plans and home theaters.

BIGGER SOUND FOR BIGGER ROOMS: An 8" woofer brings fuller bass to great rooms, living rooms and open floor plans. Use the pair for whole-house music, TV sound or home theater surrounds without speaker boxes in the room.

TWO-WAY WITH PIVOTING TWEETER: An 8" polypropylene woofer handles lows and mids, and a 1" pivoting PEI dome tweeter aims crisp highs toward your seat. 40Hz - 20kHz, 87 dB sensitivity, 120W power handling.

LONG-LASTING RUBBER SURROUNDS: Butyl rubber surrounds give the woofer deeper bass and wider frequency response than foam, and they last far longer, so the speakers keep sounding right year after year.

TRIMLESS MAGNETIC GRILLES: The micro-flange grille is held on by strong magnets and sits close to the ceiling for a clean, flush look with no visible trim ring. Spray paint the grilles to match the ceiling.

EASY INSTALL, SOLD AS A PAIR: Spring-loaded binding posts and built-in dog-ear brackets make installation quick. Includes two passive 8-ohm speakers and two paintable grilles. 9.37" cutout, 4.41" mounting depth.

WARRANTY: Backed by OSD Audio's 10-year warranty.

Each speaker combines an 8" polypropylene woofer with a 1" pivoting PEI dome tweeter. The woofer delivers the body and bass of music and movies, while the tweeter can be aimed toward the listening area for clear, crisp highs. Frequency response is 40Hz - 20kHz, sensitivity is 87 dB and power handling is rated at 120W.

The woofers use butyl rubber surrounds instead of foam, for deeper bass, a wider frequency response and a much longer service life. With an 8-ohm load, the ACE800 works with standard stereo amplifiers, AV receivers and multi-zone systems.

The speakers mount flush with no visible trim ring. A micro-flange grille is held on by strong magnets and sits close to the ceiling, and the grilles are spray paintable to match the room.

Installation is simple: cut a 9.37" hole, connect the wire to the spring-loaded binding posts, set the speaker in place and tighten the front screws to lock the built-in dog-ear brackets. Each speaker measures 10.79" in diameter with 4.41" of mounting depth.

Sold as a pair with two spray-paintable grilles. Speaker wire is not included. Passive speakers - an amplifier or receiver is required. Backed by OSD Audio's 10-year warranty.
