A dual 70V/25V transformer dial lets you set each speaker to 20W, 10W, 5W or 2.5W, or bypass the transformer for 8-ohm operation. Setting the wattage speaker by speaker is important in commercial installs where many speakers run on a single amplifier - louder where the room needs it, quieter where it does not.

Because a 70V line carries the audio signal at low current, the ACE600ST sends sound over long distances with very little power loss and sound degradation. That keeps large systems simpler and less expensive to wire.

Inside, a 6.5" polypropylene woofer with a rubber surround delivers smooth lows and mids, and a 1/2" PEI dome tweeter keeps vocals and announcements crisp and easy to understand. Frequency response is 50Hz - 20kHz, sensitivity is 89 dB (1W/1m) and power handling is rated at 100W.

The trimless design blends into the ceiling, with a spray-paintable magnetic grille that can be matched to the surface. Installation templates and built-in dog-ear brackets make the job quick: cut a 7.80" hole, wire the speaker, set it in place and tighten the brackets. Yes. The ACE600ST is a passive speaker. Use a 70V or 25V commercial amplifier with the transformer taps, or set the dial to 8 ohms for a standard amplifier.
