Overview

Some column speakers spend their working life outside, in damp air, salt and sun. Every VLS Series model is rated IP64 for resistance to dust and moisture ingress. UV and salt spray resistance suits most outdoor jobs.

A cover and grommet where the cable goes in
The VLS 30 has an input panel cover with a rubber wiring grommet for outdoor use. Behind its perforated steel grille, powder coated, is an aluminium extrusion cabinet. For prolonged heavy rain or temperature extremes, Tannoy asks you to consult your dealer first.
Sound shaped downwards
Response runs from 120 Hz to 22 kHz (±3 dB) and from 90 Hz to 35 kHz at -10 dB. The vertical pattern is +3° / -11° with a -4° bias, and horizontal dispersion is 130°.
