The OSD Audio ACE870 is an 8" angled LCR (left, center, right) trimless in-ceiling speaker for home theaters that want focused, room-filling sound without speakers on the wall. Do I need an amplifier?

Yes. The ACE870 is a passive 8-ohm speaker. Connect it to any stereo amplifier, AV receiver or multi-zone system that drives 8-ohm speakers.

Cut a 9.87" hole. The speaker measures 11.5" x 5.37" (diameter x mounting depth).

Can I paint the grille?

Yes. The white magnetic grille is spray paintable to match your ceiling.
